Safety Group – Niagara Chapter

The Niagara Peninsula Electrical Contractors Association has financially sponsored the Niagara Chapter Safety Group of the WSIB/MOL prevention and safety program, thereby, reducing the cost of participation to our members.

This Safety Group meets monthly with facilitator (E. Davies of Safety Works Consulting Inc.) to develop and implement safety policies and procedures that meet or exceed current standards.

The majority of our members belong to a Safety Group which highlights the emphasis placed on safety by our contractors. The Niagara Chapter group includes companies of all sizes which creates an opportunity for our larger firms to share information and experience with our smaller contractors.

Our Safety Group has had great success over the years in assisting our members in developing and implementing WSIB/MOL mandated safety policies and standards. To date, our members have scored 100% on their audits and realized thousands of dollars in financial rebates.

Our commitment is to provide a safety conscience work force and develop a safety culture on all our job sites for our customers.
